Wi-Fi disconnects when using hotspot to clarify the subject line, the Wi-Fi disconnects when I approach an area that has guest Wi-Fi. On Sunday, we went to Walmart and the Wi-Fi disconnected, even though I was on a hotspot. I had to go into settings, then Wi-Fi then connect to my iPhone. Later that day we went to a restaurant that had guest Wi-Fi available. Once again as we approached the restaurant, the Wi-Fi disconnected from the glasses. I had to go back into settings then Wi-Fi then connect to my iPhone. Am I doing something wrong that causes the Wi-Fi to drop when I approach an area that has guest Wi-Fi? The hotspot is on. Thanks for any feedback.

Hi,

I don’t think you are. Does your phone have open wi-fi networks listed and is it connecting to those? Check Settings > Wi-Fi > Edit and see if any of those open wi-fi networks are defined in your phone. If they are, remove them. As far as I’m aware, EchoVision shouldn’t be connecting to an open network just because, and it also shouldn’t be dropping your wi-fi connection to your hotspot unless your hotspot actually disables, which it will if the phone connects to another network.
