I do think that there needs to be some control of the verbosity in everything from on device notifications, to live AI, to scene descriptions.
Including potentially using sounds like dings rather than voice for on device notifications and checkboxes for what we do or do not want to hear.
Ā
Iām also concerned that people around you will interrupt the AI when itās talking as they will be picked up by the microphone.Ā This happens with meta a lot.
Ā
Please consider supporting dark mode on both ios and android. Almost every device and app made for someone with low vision has this functionality [from CCTVs/digital magnifier to on device apps] because itās a very common need.Ā
Figured Iād mention this now since you are developing the ap.
Any cornea related conditions like glaucoma would have this requirement.Ā
e.g. I have clients at work who can read 6X text size on a black background but cannot read or identify controls at any magnification with a white background.
Ā
Similar to the dark mode request from my previous post, the lens color options are an important 1 to consider.
Any cornea related condition like glaucoma [most common eye condition] would have the requirement for a color lens.
e.g. I have clients at work who cannot see things when they are in the white or black color range because corneal changes add a white haze over everything they see.Ā Shifting the color range into a brown or orange allows them to see significantly more.

Hi,
I too raised this issue a few months ago. If I put in someoneās name itās because I want the glasses to tell me who they are, not what they look like first.
Is this something that will be implemented for release or will it come later?
Thanks
