I List,

Since I started using the echovision glasses, I notice that the volume on my iphone 16e is often way way down, though I am not using the glasses at the time.

I have my phone set so the call is always coming through the speaker unless I move the phone up to my ear.

Now, quite often, I can barely hear the phone ring, and when I do answer it,  I can barely hear the caller even when I hold it up to my ear and press up on the volume buttoln several times.

Currrently, I have the echovision paired with the Bluetooth on my phone  and connected with my wifi.

I live in a 625 square foot home, so I know distance an signal strength are  not part of the equation.

Could there be a difference if  I turned off the Bluetooth connection and used the wifi only?

I ask these questions as the echovision is the only new thing in my iphone equation.

Yes, I am truly fishing, in a good way.

Cheers,

Monty, I would forget the glasses in your list of Bluetooth devices on your iPhone and then see if your volume returns to what you are used to. If it does then obviously the glasses are doing something. If you are using speakerphone most of the time for calls, there is really little reason to pair the glasses unless you really enjoy using them to listen to  music or audio books, but pairing the glasses to your iPhone does not add any functionality to the AI capabilities of the glasses. For now I have chosen not to pair them to muy iPhone via Bluetooth because I have other and better headsets if I want to use a headset for calls or listening and I am more interested in the EchoVision glasses for their reading, Live AI and scene description capabilities and all of these functions are entirely independent of your iPhone and only require a Wi-Fi connection or use of your personal hotspot if you are out and about.
