COVID-19 is caused by SARS-CoV-2, a novel (or new) coronavirus.  As with any life-threatening disease, there is an opportunity for misinformation to cause disruption, wasted resources, and greater harm to the community.  Finding accurate and useful information in a situation where so much is unknown, where what is known seems futile and inadequate, can be difficult.

One resource that will help with some of the misconceptions now circulating is the World Health Organization's Myth Busters page.  Simple clarifications with simple graphics (downloadable, shareable), the page pushes back against misinformation.

#COVID19 and #Coronavirus are channels for additional information from other agencies.

Not that I'm looking forward to Mosquito Season here in Texas.  Or summer.  Just saying.
