Here's a link to a Google Doc I'm creating with free online resources for people to use up some time while home alone. Feel free to add to it!

Thanks for the resource, James. I'd like to mention some resources for free online reading.
1. E-books from your local library. The resources you can borrow may also include audiobooks, music, and films.
2. Project Gutenberg (gutenberg.org), a library of over 60,000 free books. You can read online or download in a variety of formats to keep your own copy. The books included on the site are out of copyright, so most were published before 1922 or so. However, a few more recent titles do show up. Try searching for Felix Adler or John Dewey.
2a. If you want to perform an ethical action from your home, take a look at Distributed Proofreaders (www.pgdp.net). These are the volunteers who read the newly scanned books to check for typos and, eventually, help format the books for publication in Project Gutenberg. I haven't helped with this activity for quite a while, but I have managed to log over 2000 pages. If typos make you twitch, try it out.
3. For SF readers, try https://www.freesfonline.net/. Some classic, some contemporary short fiction. Discover new writers.
Are there other such free sites we could add? Asking for a friend.
Best regards,
Carolyn A. Parker
