Hi Paz Sampedro,
Sorry for the lack of responses until now.
Debugging the AD Studio may be harder than figuring out how to get ADMB working via the command line.

Can you open a cmd window and type "where admb" to see if the admb command is being found in your path? Or run "admb" in PowerShell which should either say "not recognized" or give you information on the release version and location on your computer.

The icons in AD Studio are really just shortcuts to commands that are all available via the command-line, so once ADMB is in your path, you can try a command like
> admb model.tpl

We can definitely figure out how to get you to be able to compile your existing TPL files but it might take a few tries.

Hi,

I need your help because I am struggled trying to install ADBM in my new computer. I tried different options but the last option (from scracth and after removing and uninstalling the programs), I tried to install AD studio  version 10 (adstudio-10.exe).

Everything is installed and folders are created (c/~, c/admb, c/Rtools, c/gnu/emacs). I send you a print-screen with the environment variables that were included for ADMB

The problem is that emacs doesnt load the ADMB mode and so the compiler does n't work. No specific icons are available in toolbar, and the F2 and F3 options does not work.

I really appreciate any help with this issue, i have old tpl files that i can not run anywhere.

Hi Ian,

Thank very much you for your answer. Yes, you are right ADMB was working via the command line, the problem was related with emacs that did not show the ADMB in the menu.

But, finally I followed the steps for windows installation indicated at: https://qfcatmsu.github.io/ADMB-TMB%20Installation.html and now ADMB+emacs are working well !!!. :)))

Best regards,

Paz
