Modest Tree is pleased to join Tech TY in the DOD ADL xAPI Design cohort to create a project on Digital Citizens Cyber Security Awareness (DCCSA). The Digital Citizen Transmedia learning will be utilized by High Schools and Universities to teach good data handling practice and security considerations.  Modest Tree was invited to join the cohort by Sandy Masin, VP Tech TY (NCS Member), after meeting at the National Center for Simulation's Industry Capability Day in Orlando on 26 February.

The Digital Citizens Cyber Security Awareness Cohort plans to tackle the very real and pressing personal and national cyber security issue through Transmedia Learning.  Sandy Masin, explains the project as “Launching a campaign and applying what it means to be ethical, responsible and resilient Digital Citizens.  Our cohort will provide unique opportunities to include the youth's voice often left silent in the cyber safety, security and ethics discussion. Transmedia learning is about asking the right questions with the right tools in a playful Pin A Pirate game environment.”

Modest Tree will assist with the team's 3D interactive content efforts and the team will be utilizing its next generation 3D Content Rapid development tool, Modest3D, to build 3D interactivity for the Transmedia learning approach. Sam Sannandeji, CEO Modest Tree, stated, "The cohort is packed with enthusiastic, talented professionals, and the approach of involving students, teachers, and parents in the Transmedia learning construct is brilliant! I think this model of developing transmedia learning will be most effective for Cyber Security education, as well as many other applications."
