Objective threshold evaluations for success status and completion status

Description:
In the SCORM environment, the “core” data associated with a SCO
provides the ability to make an evaluation for cmi.success_status and
cmi.completion_status. For cmi.success_status, this is accomplished
via the relationship between cmi.score.scaled and
cmi.scaled_passing_score. For cmi.completion_status, this is
accomplished via the relationship between cmi.progress_measure and
cmi.completion_threshold.

Objectives success and completion status
(cmi.objectives.n.success_status and
cmi.objectives.n.completion_status) cannot be determined due to the
lack of the relationships defined above for the objectives array.

Recommendation:
The cmi.objectives.n.success_status data model element value could be
determined by evaluation of cmi.objectives.n.score.scaled and a new
objectives child element, cmi.objectives.n.scaled_passing_score. The
data types and behavior of these elements would be identical to that
of the “core” counterparts.

The cmi.objectives.n.completion_status data model element value could
be determined by the evaluation of the
cmi.objectives.n.progress_measure and a new objectives child element,
cmi.objectives.n.completion_threshold. The data types and behavior of
these elements would be identical to that of the “core” counterparts.

cmi.objectives.n.scaled_passing_score element and the behaviors
required to set the cmi.objectives.n.success_status based on an
evaluation with the cmi.objectives.n.score.scaled.

behaviors required to set the cmi.objectives.n.completion_status based
on an evaluation with the cmi.objectives.n.progress_measure.
