Oregon Tilth is hiring a Certification Director!!
The Certification Director is responsible for the development and oversight of Oregon Tilth’s certification program, ensuring empowered clients through high-quality service delivery, policy creation, and implementation. The Certification Director partners with other departments to create and foster alignment in strategic planning, accreditation management, and policy oversight of the certification program. The Certification Director may provide assistance and support regarding legal matters as necessary. This position provides oversight and direction to certification staff to ensure creation and implementation of certification policies and procedures, and continuous improvement. The Certification Director also plays a key role in mentoring Certification staff. Through certification with integrity and expertise, this position supports Oregon Tilth’s exemplary leadership in the regional, national and international organic industry. The Certification Director reports directly to the Chief Operations Officer.
The is a fully remote, exempt level position. The salary range for this position is $118,400.00 to $130,000.00 depending on experience. The total pay range takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills, experience and training, location, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable geographical differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Oregon Tilth, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the posted pay range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
