Interstitial close button does not work

I am using admob library and lately I encountered a bug on iPhone 16 pro where close button (X) does not closes the interstitial ad. It seems to be clickable as you see on printscreen but does not do anything. Moreover, all other elements of add areclickable.

I tested on couple other devices like iPhone 15 and iPhone 7 and close button working fine.

I have checked our Google sample application and was able to close the ads successfully in iPhone 16 pro simulator. To investigate the issue could you please share the below details with us via reply to author option.

• Screen recording of the issue
• App ID and ad unit ID
• Sample project

I am having same issue close button (X) does not dismiss ads on iphone 16pro, at first we thought it was our fault after spending hours trying to debug, i just thought to check this forum and i saw same issue

Hi,

Thank you for providing the requested information.

It is always recommended to use the latest version of the SDKs to avoid any issues. As of today, the latest version of iOS is 12.12.0.

Upon checking your AdMob account, I observed that you are currently using the SDK Version 10.14.0. Could you try once by updating to the latest version and confirm the results? Additionally, I have executed our Google sample application with the provided IDs in the latest version on an iPhone 16 pro OS Version 18.5 simulator and was able to close the ads successfully. Kindly check whether the mentioned issue is reproducible in our sample project?
