Hi everyone,

I would like to introduce to you the new RISC OS magazine, "Drag n
Drop", to be launched soon.

The magazine is aimed at the RISC OS market as a whole and will be
published quarterly in PDF format. Unlike previous/other magazines,
there will be no upfront subscription costs. Being PDF based, you
will be able to view sample pages on-line. If you like what you see,
you can then simply click to buy it.

I am currently looking for articles, both one-offs and as a series,
also interested in hearing from users who would like to write a
regular column.

Any articles used within the magazine will be paid for at 25 GBPper
article.

Please send articles to the following address:
submi...@dragdrop.co.uk

Potentially any RISC OS or BBC Micro related article maybe published,
however here is a short list as a starting point: -

RISC OS 4/5/6 feature set comparison
VPOD - Review
SafeStore - Review
USB based add-ons
Drawing with Draw- how to create your masterpiece
Painting with Paint- touching up your photographs
Printers - tell everyone about your printer and RISC OS : -
Where did you buy it from?
Price
General printing or specialised?
How do you drive it?
What programs do you print from?
Printing results?
Any other features?
Printer robustness
Would you buy the same model again?
Developing USB drivers for the Simtec implementation
Developing USB drivers for the Castle implementation
A programmers guide to developing PCI drivers for the Iyonix
A guide to using obey scripts
RISC OS & Me - Tell everyone about why you have chosen to start or
continue using the platform

Have an idea, not on the list? Send it in. The list is only a starting
point.

Do you use and upgrade your BBC micro with the latest hardware
developments? Why not tell everyone about it.
Are you constantly monitoring what is happening the the ARM world?
Come on board and write a regular column!

There will also be some space for advertisements. Interested
companies should contact me directly for advertising rates.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
