The symbol for the euro is (or e) and there are 100 cents on the euro.
The euro mark is like Greek epsilon. In PC /
Internet use e is more advisable, because it can be found in every machine.
Euro notes and coins were launched on 1 January 2002. The twelve European
Union (EU) Member States that joined the
euro from the beginning are Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany,
Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands,
Portugal and Spain.
There are eight euro coins: 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 and 50 cent and 1e and 2e. The
design on one side of each coin (the side that
shows the value) is common to the coins of all the countries in the euro
area (see pictures from our pages).
The other side of the coins shows the twelve stars of the EU flag and the
year of issue, plus a design (or designs) reflecting
the country in which the coins were produced. For example, the Finnish
design consists of Finland's heraldic war lion.
There are also additional countries Monaco, San Marino and the Vatican who
have adopted the Euro as their own
currency.
The 1, 2 and 5 cent coins are red copper in color, the 10, 20 and 50 cent
coins yellow gold-like, the 1 coin gold on the
outside with a silver-colored center, and the 2 coin silver-colored on
the outside with a gold center.
Euro coins (regardless of the national collectables) and euro notes will
be useable in all the countries of the euro area.

Nais trai. USA:n kongressin päätökset eivät päde Suomessa. Tämä
tapaus kun on vielä varsin selkeä -- sekä lähettäjä, vastaanottaja
että kaikki välissä olevat koneet ovat Suomessa (ja vielä lisäksi
mainostettu yrityskin on Suomessa).

Tuota mainitsemaani temppua on kyllä käytetty anti-spam -tarkoituksiin
-- tosin kyse oli faksispämmistä (lieneekö sitten UCF). Lähettäjä
ei sanomisella uskonut että hänen viestinsä olivat erittäin
epätoivottuja. Uskoi siinä vaiheessa kun heiltä tulleet spammit
teipattiin tuollaiseksi faksirullaksi ja annettiin rullata kunnes
vastaanottaja ei enään (ylläri) ottanut rojua vastaan.

Niin ja vielä langattomasti lähetettyä spämmiä. Tuo IP-osoite sattuu
nimittäin olemaan Suomen 2G:n gprs access pointin osoitepoolista (eli
saman IP:n voi saada noin 5999 muutakin dna:n asiakasta.)
