Someone suggested I read page 19 to 20 in the manual and set the jumpers for
the keyboard and USB to +5 VSB. It did not make any difference; fans still
run in sleep mode.
Has anyone found a fix for this??
Any help would be appreciated.

Good luck.

Dumppo.exe is in here:
ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/products/Oemtest/v1.1/WOSTest/Tools/Acpi/
Some small amount of explanation is in here - use babelfish.altavista.com
http://www.bellamyjc.net/fr/windows2000.html (then search for dumppo)

I typed in: "dumppo admin /ac maxsleep=S3"
and tried: "dumppo admin /ac minsleep=S3"
per the suggestions in the messages
Unfortunately the fans are still running and the keyboard light is still on.
Mouse button click brings everything back to life.
When I type in
"dumppo admin"
I get:
"Admin policy overrides
Min sleep state.....: S3
Max sleep state ...: S3"
What am I missing?? I didn't see anything in the BIOS settings that would
help?

I went back and had a thorough look at the BIOS settings.
Sure enough, I had not enabled the "suspend to ram." Once enabled, all
worked OK!
Thanks for all the help!
