Malayalam Cryptic Crossword
Mathai Chundattu
This is the first of malayalam crosswords I am posting.
The clues are cryptic. It means that a part of the clue is synonymic
with the answer and the rest of the clue is a way to end up in the
correct answer from other words. I have incorpoarted the usual methods
used in similar english crosswords.
The solution will be posted on March 18.
I hope that solving this gives you the same amount of fun as I had in
constructing it.

Conventions
1. The words are to be entered syllable by syllable and not letter by
letter. Eg. if you want to enter the word andhakaaram, you must
enter it in the following way.
| a | ndha | kaa | ram |
2. A chillaksharam must be joined with the letter following it except
when it is at the end of a word; in the latter case it should be
joined with the preceding full letter. See the above example.
|an | dha | kaa| ra| m| is not acceptable.
3. Your convention of transliteration must be unambiguous. You may not
use the same english letters for different malayalam letters.
Eg.
You cannot use the la in kaalam in the place of La in a word as
KeraLam.
Since this is the first crossword on the net I am posting the
conventions of malayalam transliteration on ack. It will be better if
all of us do confrom to the scheme.
