That would be "Osechi Ryori" as mentioned in the subject line. Osechi
Ryori is a traditional Japanese New Year's dish consisting of a tiered
bento box packed with various foods (typically vegetables and seafood.)
The foods have a symbolic meaning. e.g. Daikon radish means long life.
Thanks. I had no idea what Osechi is. The only Japanese food I eat is
sushi.

BTW - Osechi comes from "Osekku" or dishes that are served during annual
events and "Ryori" means cooking as in "ryori no tetsujin" (Iron man of
cooking a.k.a. Iron Chef)
Looks like a Japanese Dim Sum, with meaning :)
