I have also missed the site a lot. I did some detective work, and got
an answer from an Icelandic gentleman who had some information. With

Sorry trawling around trying to find out whats happened to halo /
theyr. I am also gutted as will every other UK windsurfer this was
the best weather site bar none ... maybe the met office should make an
offer for their code

It's the old story - if you want to make a commercial proposition out of a
weather data site you've got to appeal to a much wider audience than the
'hardcore' enthusiasts. To do this you must make the stuff very easy to
understand.
