I am using the Nvidia GeForce MX2 with TV out card and the PowerDVD
decoder - I cannot sent DVD to my TV.
Where can I find a patch for this combination as my small monitor is driving
me mad.

You need to go to Display settings and under advanced you will find the output
device option this you then set to TV as the output and all will be well.

You can not have both the monitor and the TV at the same time

Hope this helps

Yes I have done that and the picture goes to the TV until a DVD plays. It
then pops up an error block on the TV with an error F4D41436 - your TV out
is not working correctly - copyright protection on DVD. i.e. I have got TV
out from the card but the DVD wont play on the TV out only to the monitor.

I see, so the macrovision has been striped and it wont let you play.

if you find the answer let me know, I am using windvd and not trying to remove
macrovision but i use a vcr to send the sound and vision around the house , i
would be interested in striping the macrosision so i could have the option of
using the computer instead of my 709 with some films because of the sound sync.

cheers

I noticed your posting.
I recently bought a new pc with dvd drive fitted and the gforce 64mb tv-out card.
Works fine on monitor but when tv as well after about 30 secs or so the picture
locks up. As a newbie to this its sending me mad, do I take it from your posting
that I should disable the monitor and just use the tv.
Any help appreciated,
Chris.
