Can anyone help with this question. It's something that I've wondered
about for a long time but never found an answer.

In the 50's the Versatones did a record on the All Star label called
Bila. In the early 60's the Versatiles did a record on Ro-Cal called
Lundee Dundee. To me they sound similar enough to be the same group, or
at least the same lead. Does anyone have any info on either of these
groups?

While we're talking about the Versatones, Does anyone know what they are
singing on Bila?

That would explain some things. I had a theory that the label had
misspelled "Baila"(dance) as "Bila". Well I at least know the subject
matter now. Thanks, Steve!

they really aren't singing anything.it was done as a goof by local
dj(philadelhia area)jerry blavit and originally released on his all star label
and then reissued on lost nite. The big question that most people want to know
is why they never had a follow up....THEY NEVER GOT PAID FOR THE FIRST ONE!
