Hi everyone!

I just got home yesterday and have been quite busy. I've enjoyed reading all
of the NY posts. I agree it was a soooo much fun. The rain looked like it
was going to put a 'damper' on things but it stopped and we had great
weather to walk around THE city. We wouldn't have let the rain stop us
anyway right Tom?!!

Buddy gave me a sideways compliment right away by telling me I'm not as
"big" in person as I looked in the picture he got of Tom's visit to Boston.
Thanks Buddy ;) But that's what I love about him- what you see is what you
get and he *is* a sweetheart. As far as tour guides go Buddy was the best.
Thanks for the CD honey- I'll treasure it forever.

It was really nice getting to know Stevie a little. He has a great sense of
humor that sometimes went right over my head. ( Was it when you told me your
ex's name is Slutella?) I agree you took a chance meeting all of us but I'm
glad you took it!

Liz it was so nice talking with you! Your post about the whole Jeopardy
experience is not on my server but I'll look it up via Google. I'm so happy
for you!!! You *must* make a personal appearance next time.

Now Kelly......let's just say we hit it off right away. I suffer from panic
attacks in certain situations and one of those is the Subway. Kelly eased my
fears right away by telling me that if I get nervous to just pull on Buddy's
ponytail and I would be fine. ( of course I said "Oh, you mean when he's
punching me out I'll forget all about being nervous?" ) Anyway it worked and
I made it to Times Square without getting beat up. I have been to NY before
but never to Times Sq. so that was the highlight of the tour for me.

Tom it was great seeing you again. I didn't agree AT ALL with Kelly re: your
soulmate. I do want all the single girls in here to know that Tom is quite a
catch so you all better plan this group meeting we are having soon! I would
LOVE to get to know the rest of you like I've gotten to know these 4 people!

At the end of our time together we went to BBQ's. It was interesting that
without thinking we all sat down and realized all the NYers were on one side
of the table and all the Bostonians on the other side! The night ended with
Sandy yelling at me for bumming a cig from Kelly. She even yelled at Tom who
doesn't really smoke but just felt like it.

I didn't want to go but it was time. My brother and Matt ( who you now know
of ) waited all day in Manhattan for us. Fajita is just a puppy and they had
to take her home for a nap anyway. They were supposed to join us for the day
but a whacky friend of a friend stalked them down and they left the pizza
place to shake her. I know they would have loved getting to know each of
you. Oh and Buddy if all of those incoming calls add up to a lot of money
pleeesseee tell me. I know you're saving your pennies for Dawna's visit.

I wish we could have just met the next day and picked up where we left off.
It was just not enough time to spend with these coolest of the cool people.
Saying good-bye was bittersweet.

I do have to add that I enjoyed getting to know Anne better on the way down.
We had so much fun teasing Sandy!! She didn't know we had a volume switch
for the tape player and Anne kept turning it down. The puzzled look on
Sandy's face was priceless! (You know I love you San and yes I do see what a
pain Anne can be- but fuunnnn!!!)

Well until next time I guess. I can't wait to see the pictures. We all took
a lot so I'm sure some will end up on the site when Rhonda gets the time.
