Using extensions/dl in php

HI all
Im currently using php 4.06 ( yes i know its old but this is the
version our company chose), and i'm trying to load a .so (shared
object) so that it can be used right in the language. I have read some
documentation regarding the core of php and I was wondering if its
possible to get a listing of all of the available methods/functions in
the .so in php

Any help will be appreciated or pointers to a tutorial will also be
appreciated

You could use an outside parser with exec()/system(). And if your company
doesn't want to risk succesfull attacks of various kinds, they really
should upgrade to the latest version of PHP.
