We're planning to have close to 20 pads up and running, from 1/8" up
to 3/4" rods and at least one rail (my 8-footer). We know of at least
one L-motor flight that is planned (Gary Cole's, from Mid South). So
far, one vendor has committed to being on site, that being the
loveable Chad Ring. We're hoping to get another vendor or two, but to
be safe, you should probably pre-order your motors from Chad.
As far as amenities, we're gonna have the HARA Bar 'n' Grill flippin'
burgers and dogs all weekend, and there'll be a port-a-poty on site
(hopefully not too close to the Bar n Grill <g>). Saturday night,
we've made reservations for a Flyers' Banquet at a good Italian
restaurant in town, and we may have an awards ceremony of some sort
during the banquet (you know, goofy awards like highest flight,
coolest rocket, best flight, most lost rockets, most spectacular CATO,
most lawn darts, etc.).
For more info, check out the RCBO info on the HARA Webpage:
www.hararocketry.org.
Hope to see a lot of you there!
