Any idea when we might see a list of fixes and/or enhancements in this
Service Pack? This is more suspenseful than an Agatha Christie novel. ;)

I thought, VS6 was given up on and SP5 would be the last one. Where can we
get a list of fixes. One fix I am really interested in that we logged with
Microsoft 1-2 years ago was Out Of Memory error message compiling projects
that exceeded some arbitrary public properties limit. Do you know if that
was fixed?

Given that there probably that there will not be a SP7, I sure hope this fix
does suffer from the curse of the even numbers.<g>

MAN.... Why'd you have to go and say a thing like that!? Jeeezzzzzz. Oh well. It's "Beta"
right? :-) I'll give'er a try anyway ASAP.

And apparently added a couple you didn't need! <vbg>

Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.
Well the only way to get a list of fixes is to get into the beta. I can
tell you for VB we made enhancements to security and stability. We rolled
up all the QFEs to date, and fixed a few PDW bugs.
Thanks,
Tony
I would not say that. I wish I could say that :-)
Given the length of VB6 support with the chance of the future OSes
introducing major issues, there is a good possibility of an SP7. I can't
make any promises, but a decision for SP7 is going to be based on technical
merits. If customers keep submitting hotfix requests on the 6.0 product or
if a future OS version blows up VB6 apps, then I could see an SP7 or even
an SP8.

MAJOR??? <gulp> ;-)

Yeah, and I am busy holding my breath for the ability to pool COM+
components... ;)
