I am Getting this error
Reboot and Select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected
boot device.

The system board D875PBZ by Intel.

SCO Open 5.05
Created a floppy, works fine on other systems. Get the same error
whether Floppy or CD Rom.
Any ideas?

Is this also a problem in OSR 5.0.7, especially on the bootable installation
CD?
If so, I see no easy way around this if the system lacks a floppy drive
(other than to install a floppy drive).

The person who originally brought this to my attention didn't have any
trouble booting CDs. Leroy installed somehow, I would assume by CD. I
disregarded his comment about CDs because it didn't fit the curve.
Also, we don't actually provide any way to create bootable CDs in the
base OS. He didn't say how he did it, but it's easy to believe that he
might have created CDs that just don't work, nothing to do with the boot
sector signature.

The problem does still exist in OSR507. I assume that the next time we
issue a full bootable OSR5 CD set, it'll be fixed. But since I don't
believe it actually affects booting from CD, it shouldn't matter.
