How's this for a blatant example of PV's "game" in which he uses the
Nazi holocaust and its victims to lie about what other posters have
written?

I challenged PV about a deliberate false quote he attributed to
Neville. This was the exchange:

(My words first, followed by PV's)

> >The truth is that the poster in question never said that the death
> >camps were okay.
>
> Of course he did. The QUOTE was in his MIND...

"The quote was in his mind ..." And that is how PV tries to justify
his lies.

BTW, PV, following on from my words yesterday in which I told you that
your decision to remove that boundary, thus enabling us BOTH to extend
this beyond just this group ... have you looked in on any holocaust
related discussion forums recently? There are some very interesting
little items you might want to check out.

Quite true... Once again...since you "LOVE" to deceptively clip, unless
you simply remark <clip unread> the entire thrust of my words as to
the behavior patterns that Ol' Racist Nev and I demonstrated --

"there were no RULES with Ol' Racist Nev... so
anything you say about any comment I made to him, which
you contend is a lie is simply your support for a poster who
has expressed a wish to murder me. I found that ANYTHING
I said to him, could NEVER be presumed to be a lie...
axiomatically. Since there WERE NO RULES. Nor would
I characterize his many ravings as lies (although I probably
called them that at the time). I really believe he was so evil
that he did not BELIEVE they were lies, and as the person
who lacks the mental faculties to UNDERSTAND his
crime, cannot be charged with that crime... so too
Ol' Racist Nev lacked the mental faculties to UNDERSTAND
he was lying, and thus I find it difficult to call him a liar."

Given that he threatened me with MURDER, long before any
development that YOU refer to occurred. Do you really believe
HE had 'rules'? But of course you do. YOU AGREE with his
threat to murder me.. his words that you have stated you AGREE
with, since they did not involve my 'family.' -- His EXACT
WORDS TO ME -

"stay the fuck out of Derbyshire, scum, else you'll be swimming in the
Erewash Canal with all the other old boots." See --

Haven't seen any. Are you posting under your other handle - "Adolf_Eichmann,"
perhaps?

You must admit.. it is an honest mistake, for a newbie. One can
hardly recognize the difference in styles. A small rewrite of a
classic from Lucas Stults that I hope he doesn't mind my using
for newbies here --

------------------------------------------
"....there are many new arrivals that will mistakenly believe that
"JPB" and "Desi" are different people.

Newbies: The "JPB/Desi" experiment is one of the longest
running gags in the history of the Usenet, second only to the
"Joe1orbit" fraud. In case any of you haven't gotten it yet, all
posts written by "Just Passing By" or "Desmond Coughlan" (as well
as several other aliases) are written by one person: Kelly
Bringhurst of Greensboro. The details of this fraud are plainly
outlined in Kelly's excellent paper; "The psychology of mass
manipulation and the group mindset on the internet".

To quote from Kelly's work: "(usenet trolling) is most effective
in large groups of young people, preferably females, particularly
female college students, who have nearly NO ability to rationally
and logically distinguish between Reason and Hyperbole. When
attempting to induce an irrational emotional response from such
people, it is best to avoid even tangental relevance to the topic of
the newsgroup, because in doing so you may inadvertantly spark
an actual debate. Rather, your goal should be to encourage
partisans on either side of an issue to argue over the most trivial
and irrelevant topics imaginable."

Veterans on this list find it hilarious when Newbies respond to
"JPB/Desi", since most of us have known about the fraud for years.
Especially humorous is Kelly's tendancy to write identical posts,
including the exact same insults and off-topic tirades, with either
the "JPB" or "Desi" attribution chosen entirely at random.

Word on the street is that Kelly no longer personally oversees the
"JPB/Desi" project, but has turned the care and upkeep of it over
to several undergrad students, who have vowed to keep the farce
going for as long as the Usenet exists. Apparently, their goal is to
set some sort of record for the longest troll in history."
----------------------------------------

Damn... I miss ol' Lucas... and St. George... and even BLANTOTO.
The class of abolitionists certainly has suffered since they left.

Then I offer my apologies Mr Coughlan, you both have similar writing styles
with regards to PV and you both appear to originate from the NTL ISP, he
appears to post directly through google unlike you who post via a FREEBSD
client (my compliments on you choice of operating system BTW), I noticed
your discord with PV also. I don't know what caused this nor do I care but
this factors made me believe that JPB and yourself are one and the same. I
am sure you can appreciate that.

Not at all. I have lurked here for a while which was long enough to absorb
the ambiance of the group but it failed to sufficiently arm me with all the
required information I need to completely differantiate between Mr Coughlan
and JPB

Is all this really true PV? I am familiar with the common practice of
falsifying identification to post on these here newsgroups which has become
a necessity of the time thanks to out spammers and would be virus
procreators but to go to such degrees must be thought of as not so much a
fraud but rather a huge joke.

An honest mistake... the styles and views of Desmond Coughlan and 'just
passing by' are almost the same. Very subtly shadings of differences do exist.
Desmond uses more obscene language, is more prone to laugh at
murders, and has an unhealthy attraction for 'barely legal' 16 year-old females.

just passing by is possessed of quite lesser mental faculties. Quite simply he is
ignorant, and has an equally unhealthy attraction for 'chubby women.' While
Desmond only posts as if he is ignorant. In time... you'll be able to tell the
difference without even looking at the respective handles.

Good luck... :-)

Just a spoof... But you know what they say... Truth is stranger than fiction.
The three I mention were all abolitionists... and formidable foes. It's a
pity that they are no longer here.

Given the posting style of Desmond and JPB... the use of the term 'huge
joke,' seems quite appropriate. Desmond has LAUGHED at the murder
of more than a dozen innocent human beings, in the terrorist attack in
Jakarta. Stating that it was 'only population control in Indonesia.' While
JPB found it necessary to include the 'weight-loss' of a baby killer in the
same sentence in which he referred to the holocaust. Without the slightest
pause or understanding what 'weight-loss' was experienced by those victims
of the holocaust.

LOL... I thought you argued that I was the only one lacking an ability
in the English language. A 'barely legal female,' is a female who
is 'barely legal.' To a very limited extent... not universally... But
I do detect some denial, in your own understanding that your
sexually predatory nature is rather unhealthy... to say the least.
That mirror, Oh Nameless One... look in that mirror.

I think i can help you here Mr. Coughlan. Barely legal indicates the female
has only just reached the border age where it is legal to procreate with
them.
