PETTION FOR RELIEF FROM JUDGMENT
COMES NOW, the defendant, Scott Bradbury, by and through his counsel Daylin B.
Leach, Esquire, to petition this honorable court for Relief from Judgment,
pursuant to Pa. R.C.P. 237.3. In support of this petition, the defendant avers
the following:
On August 25, 2000, the Plaintiff filed a Praecipe for Default Judgment with
this court. A true and correct copy of which is hereto and marked as "Exhibit
A."
Since a complaint has never been filed or served, the defendant is unable to
attach a copy of preliminary objections he would file if the judgment was opened
pursuant to Pa.R.C.P. 237.3 (a).
"[The] plaintiff engage[d] in a vendetta against the defendant. The court has
heard telephone messages left on the defendant's answering machine, in which
the plaintiff admits dedicating himself to making the defendant's life a "living
hell." He refers to the defendant as a "miserable piece of shit" among other
charming epithets. The defendant's private medical information, subpoenaed by
Mr. Edeiken finds its way onto the Internet. Even after the defendant is
represented by counsel, mail is still sent directly to the defendant addressed
to "Defendant Bradbury." ...When attorney Leach asked Mr. Edeiken for a copy of
the complaint when he first becomes involved in the case, he is told "Fuck You"
via e-mail. In plain English, this is not a lawsuit, it is a bizarre war waged
by Mr. Edeiken on a man he has never met. The court should not be a party to
this."

1) I won that lawsuit- the judgment against me was overturned and the lawsuit
was dismissed in my favor. Also I was NEVER served with the lawsuit's

possibly answered the accusations when I was never served with them? I was not
given my day in court. The victory Yale got was only temporary and the fact he

True. Ahhhhh, but even besides Melville's classic, I have to give the
nod to Gregory Peck [deceased 2003] in the cinematic version of "Moby
Dick." I think half the battle with the classic flicks was getting the
right actor/actress to 'fit the part' and in that particular flick,
indeed, everyone seemed to fit perfectly. Even the cameo appearance by
Orson Wells as the minister or our friend 'Elijah' [which I used in a
bit...'Mornin' to ye, shipmates.....Mornin'....' ] at the docks. Peck
made a great 'Ahab' as did the supporting cast in their roles. Dunno if
those tattoos and skin designs on 'Queequeg' [*Maori actor Piripi
Waretini] were real or not...they looked to be but who knows!
Except for the more lavish [read: big budget] productions these days and
even then it's obviously no assurance of anything, the era of 'quality'
cinema on a sustained basis may have passed into cinematic oblivion.

1) The attack of the whale in Moby Dick is based in significant part on the
attack of a whale on the whaleship Essex.
2) Herman Melville knew of the attack, but received more direct information
talking to William Chase, the son of a survivor (Owen Chase) of the Essex, who
loaned Melville his father's written description of the event.
3) Melville and William Chase were shipmates aboard the Acushnet, a whaleship
out of New Bedford, Massachusetts.
So maybe Melville knew more about whales than you do, since he served on an
18th century whaleship, than you knew from your personal experiences aboard a
U.S.N. ship of the last half of the 20th century?
