It would serve the twink right..
I am fully aware of the cost of the legal system and the ramifications
of a court case. However, as much as we may like or dislike the
legal system, it *is* the appropriate place for Neal to continue his
complaint. The net is not. If Neal truly feels that he has a
case, he can seek relief there. All he's doing here is kvetching and
moaning, which is useless since nobody is agreeing with him. If he
has a case, he can make it much better in court. And then maybe he'd
shut up here, too.

Sure, if you want to set a legal precedent and let Canticle get sued too.

Whether it would serve "the twink" right or not, it is exceedingly
difficult to win court cases for slander involving public figures,
which WotC may qualify as, against anyone else. Furthermore, unless
someone is grossly negligent, definitely malicious, or physically
injured (to win jury sympathy), do not expect rewards beyond
_provable_ damages.
Could we stop all these mumblings about lawsuits, please? Our
society is far too litigatious, and it is best not to encourage
such silliness. BTW, most of you out there probably do not
realize that WotC was once in danger of being squashed by the legal
costs of a cheesy lawsuit, way back in its infancy, so I would hope
you could be a bit more empathetic toward lawsuit victims. Please
do not goad the local loose cannons into suing WotC, especially.
