Is it something about NTLworld that sucks people's brains out? This is the
second Luser from there in as many days who's posted a binary here. Just
because you're getting your bandwidth for free doesn't mean the rest of us
are.

ab...@net.ntl.com has mail, again.

I suppose I should pay more attention and not make mistakes. That was
supposed to go three friends of mine (whose identities I shall keep secret).
If I look at the screen when I'm typing I'll be able to avoid being a Luser.
What sort of abuse from NTL should I prepare for? I have some thick trousers
at the ready.

I can't apologise enough.

You know the old saying-- it's always September somewhere on the net.
Maybe NTL has brought September in early this year.

Dave {Reply Address in.sig} entertained cam.misc with the following story:
>My killfile is working well then, I never even saw it.

Neither did I. Our news server is intelligent enough to drop binaries
posted to non-binary newsgroups.

I think it must have been cancelled. I didn't get it and my client
wouldn't have killfiled it.

Colin, Mike and Georgie perhaps?

Perhaps you could atone by sorting out your quoting? The usual convention is
quoted text first, edited down to the minimum necessary (removing things
like .sigs for example).

http://the-hug.org/paul/camfaq.html#1.7 has hints and links to pages to help
you set up your news client correctly.
