I noticed that Warpzilla 1.4 milestone build 20030624 have
a strange display of a Japanese character "MIDLINE
HORIZONTAL ELLIPSIS" (Shift_JIS 0x8163 / Unicode u2026).
The character consists of three dots in a horizontal line
and the vertical position of these dots should be "middle".
(Except when Times New Roman MT 30 unicode font is used.
TNR MT 30 ovbiously has wrong-vertical-position "bottom"
of the char. I confirmed it on other application.)
But 1.4 milestone build always shows these dots in "bottom"
with any fonts. See snapshots of them:
http://www.serina.org/~mozilla/warpzilla1.4/
I won't put this to Bugzilla because it happens ONLY on
1.4 milestone build. All other builds include
1.4rc2 milestone (20030616)
later 1.4 branch vacpp build (20030706 and 20030711)
latest-trunk emx build (any)
are displaying the character quite properly.
The problem seems just a glitch appears on 1.4 milestone
build. However, I don't understand the reason of the glitch.
Why 1.4 milestone only - Any ideas?

My fault. I put in some new code in that build that special cases
certain Unicode characters so they use the default font instead of going
to Times New Roman MT 30 (Unicode font).
I guess ellipses shouldn't be on that list.
Thanks
