Hi guys ...

Am trying to set up Mozilla against Exchange 2000. Can
access my account, now... thanks guys.

New problem. Am trying to access the active directory
ldap so I can get hold of the address stored therin.

Read the on line help, and tried typing things
like dc=egshs dc=local etc etc. The "find"
button never seems to highlight.

given that my domain is egshs.local .. can I get a
hint or 2 on what I need to put in the various boxes
to access my user lists....

Cheers
Peter

Hi Peter.

Point Mozilla to your Active Directory server and not to the
Exchange server. Fill the information as follows:

NAME:whatever
HOSTNAME:IP or host name of one of the DC's
BASE DN:DC=egshs,DC=local
PORT:389
BIND DN:DN=peter,DN=Users,DC=egshs,DC=local (try various things)

That's it.

Good Luck! Ran

Thanks for the reply........

I tried this, and still no success.

Has anybody been able to get this to work.

I still cannot get the find button to light up either :-(

Cheers

Hi Peter.

Open ADSI edit. Get the bind DN from there. See if you can
connect to the DC through port 389. If that does not work,
downaload LDAPBrowser from http://www.softerra.com/. This tool
will help you get the LDAP structure of your AD.
