It says I need file udkfs.image.Z. for version 7.1.1b (b as in bitch, I
think).
If you mean www.caldera.com/download, it seems to be offline at the
moment.

? I know Progress requires JAVA, but why OSRCompat? I am running Progress
version 9 without it. I have the packages and can FTP them tonight if that
would help. Email me before 12PM EST.

It's been my experience that the Java SDK for OSR5 requires OSRCompat.
All attempts I've had to use it without OSRCompat have failed.

Thanks to the wonderful and helpful people at filePro(tm)
there is a copy here:
http://www.fptech.net/jsp/filepro/demos/downloads.jsp
but even when I look inside the file, it only says "7.1.1" so I don't
know if it's a or b.
b would be prefferable of course, but if you are stuck, I would
imagine this would at least get you unstuck.
Yes. Somewhere between my thoughts and the keyboard the translation got lost.
The newest JAVA requires OSRCompat 7.1.1b which is udkrtfs.image from SCO.
Loading just OSRCompat does not help, you need JAVA. Which is what I meant
to say.
http://www.sco.com/download/, go to near the end of the product list scroll,
select "UnixWare and OpenServer Development Kit Feature Supplement 7.1.1b",
then download just the udkrtfs part of that, and then just install the
OSRcompat part of that.
An even newer version of OSRcompat is available from the UW 7.1.3 media
kit, and will be pre-installed in the upcoming OpenServer 5.0.7 product.
At that time the barn floor will be warm and the cattle friendly....
