While the new Acorn situation is serious, from the desktop viewpoint,
the new Directors of Tau Press Ltd do not consider it to be hopeless.

We are examining the situation with a view to a suitable solution.

We would like anyone who has a serious contribution to make to e-mail
me at the aued...@idg.co.uk address with details -- these will be
treated in complete confidence. Pooling resources will provide much
greater strength.

(Please understand that I am away this weekend so will not respond
until Monday.)

We appreciate that many of you would like to make a small financial
contribution in the hopes that if enough people do so, it will be
"enough" -- it would be better for you to save your cash to buy a new
RISC OS machine when it becomes available.
