Hiya everybody,
Due to enormous demand I've just quickly dug out the speculatve
specs I posted here at the end of last week and stuck them in HTML
form and put them on my own website.

This is still a long way from being validated or officially recognised
yet (Stephen isn't due back into the UK until at least tomorrow and
then he's booked up for a while after that), but as my own personal
observations, these are the stats I *believe* he is refering to.

Take a browse at http://www.argonet.co.uk/users/kraisee/phoenix/

As and when more details can be confirmed I'll try to keep this
updated.

BTW, don't go to .../kraisee/ as the bandwidth that's required is huge
:)

Cheers,

Ross.

Has BBC BASIC been considered?
IMHO, BBC BASIC has been one of the prime attractions of RiscOS computers,
and I'd hate to see that disappear.

My tuppence worth.

I agree. It has also encouraged a huge amount of PD software that it would
now be difficult to do without.

A colleague of mine told me quite a while ago that he thought there
was already BBC BASIC for Linux, though I've never seen it myself.
If I can find it, and it's a good enough version then we should
package it in together. I think it's vital.
