Objective:-
To create a viable and long term professional future for RiscOS Desktop
Computers, including the completion and production of the computer system
known as "Phoebe Risc PC2".
To this end, there will be a meeting of relevant parties, in the Cambridge
area on Friday 25th of September. Due to restrictions on the accomodation and
the discussions involved it has been decided to limit the meeting to Dealers,
Developers, potential significant investors and the Acorn press.
We need to pool our resources, and work together to succeed. The meeting must
set out the strategy for the approach to Acorn and the terms under which we
will develop a working relationship with them. Until such time as a decision
has been reached we have requested that no approach be made to Acorn directly
All parties will have the chance for their say at the meeting and to
influence the shape of the future. By adopting this approach we hope to
impress upon the Acorn board that this is indeed a serious business venture
that can be successful for all those participating.
As with all such schemes people are regrettably missed out in the attempt to
contact everyone in a short period of time. If you feel that you should be
present at the meeting then please contact either myself (pho...@tecs.co.uk)
or Chris Evans at CJE Micros (pho...@cje.co.uk). We will then validate your
attendance and call with details of venue and time. We would greatly
appreciate it if people could avoid using up our very limited time by
contacting us this week if you do not fall into the categories mentioned
above.
YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED ACCESS TO THE MEETING UNLESS YOU HAVE CONFIRMED
ATTENDANCE WITH ONE OF THE ABOVE
Companies / individuals already hoping to attend (in no particular order) are
