Rising Stars 11 came out today.

Midnight Nation 3 comes out next week, as well as the RS graphic novel
gathering the first 8 issues.

Just FYI.

Thank jimminy.

Top Cow's consistency has been increasingly frustrating... according to
some stores/websites RS 11 and the graphic novel were supposed to come
out 2+ weeks ago.

And I don't know 'bout anyone else, but I am *REALLY* looking forward to
Midnight Nation #3.

And while we are on the subject of comics, I must say that I am excited
about Joe's involvement in ASM. As a kid I used to collect more comics
then was probably good for me and the center of my collection (and my
entire appreciation of comic books, really) was Spider-Man. He was by
far my favorite character and the titles which bare his name make up
nearly a quarter of my vast collection (which is burried (sp?) somewhere
deep in my closet). But it would be Spider-Man that would destroy my
love of comics with that positively sickening clone saga. That story
disgusted me so, and it opened my eyes to the inconsistencies and
overall bad storytelling in the rest of the Marvel Universe.

I didn't touch a comic book for over 5 years. Not until RS came out
last summer. Since then the only other titles I have read are Earth-X
and Midnight Nation. I hope JMS does justice to Spider-Man because by
simply putting his name on it, he is doing that which I thought no-one
could possibly do: I am going to read Spider-Man again.

Where can the RS graphic novel be found?

Funny. I can't seem to find either of them. Our comic book stores leave a
lot to be desired. They're more game rooms than comic books. And they have
the most ridiculous hours - 5pm to 8pm. It's obviously a part-time job type
of business. But still, if you're going to own a businesses, run it!

Well, most of the world buys comics through Diamond Comics, so if you go
to their website (http://www.diamondcomics.com/ IIRC) and look up the
product numbers, your comic shop should be able to order them for you.

Here's some help--

check your area for other stores at http://www.the-master-list.com/
or try http://csls.diamondcomics.com/

Failing that go mail order-- www.khepri.com has gotten a lot of endorsements
around the 'net even if the website isn't always updated. It's a wonderful
one man operation sending comics around the world :)
If you'd like slicker mail order service there's also the giant of mail
order-- Westfield at http://westfieldcompany.com/

FWIW if you're not interested in subscribing via the mail try www.npo.com
for single issues.

Thank you. I do have a good source to get me my comic books: Sandra Bruckner :)
Perhaps a good number of you know or have heard of her. She's a wonderful person
who also takes care of the Zocalo newsletter, among other things related to
Babylon5 :)
