Hi Joe,

Fiona has mentioned that she will be doing a B5 related project with
WB. I'm not going to ask what the project is. I'm just wondering if
you know what the project is and if you think it's anything the fans
would be greatly interested in. My hope is that she will help them in
the creation of extras to put on dvd's. But something tells me that
isn't very likely. Anyway, will she be working on something cool?

Jon

It's nothing I can comment on right now, because the studio stuff is still in
process. I can probably talk a little more about it in a few weeks.

Cool !!

If you can't comment on it, it must be good news.

Sounds like 2000 has been the year of Joe !!

. . . meanwhile, we all hyper-ventilate . . . but if B5 has taught its viewers
nothing else, it is patience. (Remembers TNT holding back the last 5 episodes
and then replaying the entire Fifth Season before finally showing them!)

I personally vote for DVD :-) (Day-dreams about seamless branching technology
used to include scenes originally deleted for its broadcast, Jms audio
commentary tracks for each episode, blooper featurettes, and animated menu
segues with Babylon 5 ships and pikes blazing across the screen! All of the
high definition masters near perfectly transferred in anamorphic widescreen for
live action scenes and full screen for CGI scenes that has an option for being
cropped if you so desire, with cast and crew interview featurettes, and a
collectible ppg pistol prop that you can get if you send int he proofs of
purchase for all 5 Season boxed sets!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!)

Yeah, I guess if B5 came out on DVD, I would check it out . . . :::puts on his
shades and acts *cool*:::

I wish to register both my disgust at Joseph Lieberman's
attempt to exploit the name of my Lord my God for its brand
value, and my horror at the fact that a VP candidate should be
so deeply blasphemous as to call Al Gore a "mighty servant of God."

I'd like another B5 series or Crusade myself, but that might not be it.
Maybe a website with new B5 stories (& no Java so I can actually *read*
them)?

I doubt that jms would want to talk us through all 110 episodes + the
movies... Though that would mean we'd get a bonus 42 minutes track of
agonized screaming on the disc with "Grey 17 is Missing".

I think a better solution for all parts would be to send out a request
to all the crew whose whereabouts are still known, and ask them if there
are any episodes where they feel they have a story to tell. The you add
in jms on the big episodes, and the writers on the non-jms episodes.

I doubt it would happen but it would be nice to have Peter and Andreas
do a commentary on one of the episodes "In character"

Oh my. Now /that/ would be funny as hell. Or sobering as hell. My gods...
could the COMMENTARY reduce us to tears?

I think they should have Tim Choate (Zathras) do the commentary, *in
character*.

"Zathras say that ending of Grey 17 is lame, but no one listen to poor
Zathras."
