I just got word from the producer that they're "retooling" the format and it
won't be on until "the early part of next year." :(

I spoke with the exec producer the other day, and what they want to do is
expand it in several areas, including interviewing some actors who didn't get
interviewed the first time around, such as Jerry Doyle, which I felt was a good
call because not having him in would be a huge omission.

So now, the October 15th postponement date is no good either?

It still says October 15th on the www.scifi.com/sciography page, but if
you go to the schedule bot, it says the Sciography episode for that date
is the Bionic Woman.

Maybe the left and right hands of Sci-Fi Channel don't talk?????
Mac
My main concern is how can they get the backstory of the making of B5 into a
hour show.
Well, I checked on 9/17, and the Sci-Fi site has removed the Oct. 15 date
and replaced it with TBA.
Mac
How well have they done with the shows done so far ?
It's probably a matter of perspective. To a hardcore fan, no treatment can
cover everything (isn't that what Lurker's Guides are for?).
I watched the Battlestar Gallactica and Quantum Leap Sciographies being only
casually acquainted with both series and thought they were entertaining and
informative. Did I find out everything I could possibly know about each?
Doubt it. Do I need to know more? That would be up to me.
I suspect it would be the same when they do Babylon 5.
DD
Somehow I missed the Quantum Leap show but I did catch the Battlestar Galactica
Sciography.
It was .... okay, I suppose. I thought they harped on a supposed fued between
two characters far too often. Aside from that, though, it was interesting to
note that they had to deal with their own set of production 'notes'.
I would have liked to see the Quantum Leap episode. Guess you can't miss a
single thing lately or it's yanked for 'poor ratings'.
This is the second item in just a few months that Sci-Fi has put on hiatus with
a very small sampling.
