I've really enjoyed reading Tribulations to date and would like to buy a
copy of it.
But, I was unable to complete the transaction using the Verza online
purchasing
system employed by Dark Tales and thought you would like to know about
this.
Contacting Verza's technical support produced the following response:

Now given that you have quite a few fans in California, and that these
"pending legal
issues" don't sound like they're going to be resolved anytime soon, this
seems like a
major impact for you and Dark Tales. I've sent email to Dark Tales
inquiring about
purchasing Tribulations from them directly but have not yet received a
response.
Anyway, as I said above, I've really enjoyed Tribulations and look
forward to
reading more of your works in the future. Thank you for using
bookface.com!

I heard from the publisher this afternoon about this, and apparently Verza
hasn't finished it's jurisdictional paperwork and stuff for California, so
they're going to be switching over to another system asap to cover this.
I'd suggest checking back in a couple of days. It should be fixed by then.

Apparently, California considers Verza an escrow service and requires
different paperwork to be filed.
