Joe,

I just read that Netter Digital is filing Chapter 11. Does this effect you
professionally at all (it could on a personal level as you and Doug are
friends afterall, but that's a different and unrelated question)? Is there
a chance Doug will pull this one out of the fire? Any comments?

No, there isn't any professional overlap, Doug's company was always its own
separate entity, and we've pretty much gone our separate ways after Crusade.
The fan club, however, will continue for the time being, this should have no
impact on that.

Shit...

Add this to the small, but growing, list of "reasons why Crusade can't
be ressurected".

Actually, that wouldn't affect the prospects one way or the other.

There's still Foundation Imaging.

I don't believe in "can't".

If you watched Sciography, you know that there is serious talk of
resurrecting Battlestar Galactica. If this happens, *anything* is
possible - though that ain't necessarily good!

It's really a shame, because Doug Netter did so much to get B5 on the
air. There are other effects-companies out there, so this probably
wouldn't affect the chance for something more in the B5 universe, but
it's still sad.

I hope the company can bounce back.

Warner Bros owns all images for B5 (be they Vorlon or Starfurry).
Translating these to a different CGI house will not get in the way of a
Crusade revival. We already saw this when B5 went from Foundation to
Netter at the beginning of Season 4. A lot of people did not evan notice
a change.

So you can take this of the list :)

I am sorry, but after seeing Volton and some of the effects on
Crusade, this news does not surprise me. The work they did was NOT
top quality when compared to other houses. This is my opinion only,
but there are better places to have CGI done.

Perhaps you were replying to Tammy? I was the one who said there's still
Foundation Imaging they could go to. Perhaps ILM would like to work on
something worthwhile this time.

When Crusade gets brought back (like Colin Baker said, never say
"if"), is there any chance that you'll bring Johnny Sekka back since
Marjean Holden won't be able to return?
I always liked Dr. Kyle...

She's a regular on a TV Series in Australia, Beastmaster. They've just
began filming their 2nd season.

Ok. I see. From Chris' post, "won't be able to return," I thought something

I don't see Beasmaster as a long-term gig, but you never know.

Chris (Kensu), I think Dr. Kyle is supposed to be retired by the time
Crusade gets going. Franklin takes over for him.

Yeah, but if something like this wouldn't be reason enough to bring
him out of retirement, what would? :)

Besides, I doubt he would've stayed on Earth after he retired, he'd
probably be out on the fringe systems, taking Xenobiogenic samples and
sending them back... :)

She look good in her Beatmaster miniskirt.
