Ain't it cool news has a blurb on the Sciology special that makes it
look like a National Enquirer piece: topics to include on-set accidents,
cast members threatening to walk, and O'Hare's 'expulsion'.

Any take on this, or preparatory comments from your end?

I think they're just doing all they can to hype the show, which is
understandable.

I watch last night's "Battlestar Galatica" Sciography and it reminded me a lot
of VH1's Behind the Music program in terms of both style and substance -- if
that helps you out at all..

I watched the Battlestar Galactica one, also, & I thought it was so
cheesy! I hope they don't treat B5 like that, but I'm a fan who was
interviewed at AgamemCon for the B5 Sciography show, & they did ask me
about Michael O'Hare, & also Claudia leaving, so they probably will talk
about the controversies surrounding B5. I said that I wasn't impressed
with Sinclair at first, but when Sinclair became Valen, the character
seemed more fascinating to me. I also said that Claudia leaving hurt
the show--I thought it was great that Ivanova, a female character, got
most of the good lines in the show (usually, male characters seem to get
the best lines). Claudia did such a great job, but I could never warm
up to Tracy's character.

I don't know if they'll use what I said--after all, they only have an
hour of airtime!

I thought it was too kind to the show. Yet it did show the idiocy of
"suits" going for the quickie rating at the of the whole series. And
pressuring for too early lauch then blaming writers for not having
good scripts.

That bit about the boy committing suicide over the show's cancellation
was quite unfeeling and inconsiderate and unnecessary. (#1 reminding
parental grief at missing the signs of a serious problem that ends in
a child's suicide; #2 using it as "push button wrench your heart"
excuse to bring the show back; #3 nutzoids: how many threaten suicide
if _________ show is cancelled and the idiot lawsuits against the
network like the parents suing KISS for their kid for their
fire-eating without proper instruction.)

Hey, some people's opinions are just worth the time ;-)

I'm not JMS (I don't even play him on teevee...), but I'm hoping that
it was just a poor choice of words. And that they'll handle the show
with a bit more equanimity than the blurb indicates...

Tammy and any other long time B5 Fans who were interviewed for "The B5
Sciography show",
If you appear on the broadcast, would you be so kind as to identify
yourself by what you said and/or what your wore. It would be rather
interesting, after all these years, to finally match faces with your
names.
