Something I've been wondering about for a long time now...
Why is it that the crew of the Excalibur never visited any of the
First One's planets? It's weird that something that was supposed to be
a cornerstone of the show never ended up happening...

-==Kensu==-
Who still wonders what happened to the Warrior Caste Minbari who was
supposed to be a member of the crew.

That's one of the things we were going to do.

A quick chat with Draal probably wouldn't have gone amiss either.

But Broadway would be under quarantine...

How would they possibly know about Draal? And since Gideon obviously
follows his box, why would he even consider asking anyone else?

Because Sheridan does. Wouldn't it be obvious for him to suggest Draal as a
potential source of information?

Be a bit stupid of him not to. Searching for information on a cure is supposed
to be his job.

Draal is a secret. It isn't up to Sheridan to go telling people about him whatever
the perceived benefits would be. If Draal wanted to be known he would make himself
known. Since he hasn't made himself known, he is either unwilling to help, unable
to help, or is already working on helping in his own way. I guess there is also the
possiblilty that he doesn't know anything about what's going on but that's quite
remote.

Yes to both sentences. It is stupid of him to depend on the Apocalypse Box the way
that he does. Yes, he should search for information elsewhere. The fact remains
that he believes that he has a real oracle in the box and he depends on it far too
much. Thinking he has a box which contains the answers to his questions, he has no
reason to think about asking anyone else.
