In the login process to this group I think this got lost. So lets try it
again. In the ending bits of this episode you see Zack with Vir in a palace
room looking over some paperwork. What unform is Zack wearing. I think its
ranger gear, a friend of mine says army of light. Does anyone have the correct
info.
Note, as always the answer will be greatly appreciated.

For those who have wanted to see some new stuff from me....
I'm pleased to announce that I've signed a contract to have some of my prose

My brand new non-B5 short story, COLD TYPE, and in a little while, a reprint of
my novelette WE KILLED THEM IN THE RATINGS, which originally appeared in a
major mystery anthology. COLD TYPE is a contemporary dark fantasy story in
the TWILIGHT ZONE mold.
Of special interest to B5 and Crusade fans...my two unproduced CRUSADE scripts
that were written specifically to crank up the overall story arc: "To the Ends
of the Earth," which was to be that season's arc jumper a la "The Coming of
Shadows," and the *season finale* "End of the Line." These episodes were
written but never filmed. For those who want to know what was planned for the
rest of the season and where it was going...this is it.
AND...biggest of all....
In a few weeks, as a thank-you to all the B5 fans who've stayed with us over
the years, instead of taking my new novel to auction, through Bookface I'm
making it avaiable *free* for online reading. TRIBULATIONS will be serialized
on the Bookface site over a period of about a month.
So head on over...I think you'll like what you see.

Whew! I just finished the two Crusade scripts. Now I want more Crusade more

JMS, you realize that you're spoiling us, don't you? We're going to want new
JMS stuff every week again soon. Good thing for Rising Stars and Joe's Comics,
I think.

see print though? I do like to be able to pick my books up and put them down.

I suspect that's unlikely (unfortunately) since they want to make it
impossible to read the books off-line. Standard HTML could be saved or
copy-and-pasted just like that, unlike the Java system they're using.
It's an understandable approach, I think. Who wants to see JMS's and
others' books being peddled by people who've printed them themselves off
the site? Not me.

Thanks, thanks a big one! It works perfectly. The only thing
I wish is the "reading window" was a wee bit bigger. For guys like
me using small monitors it's kinda tight to read, even with the type
enlarged, but still, it is a fantastic thing you did.

Thanks immensely! It sounded for a while that, if they couldn't be released
in the proper medium, you weren't going to be releasing them at all.
*** SPOILER QUESTION FOR END OF THE LINE ***
I'll try to keep it as vague as possible, but it seemed a little hard to
believe that that was the best Galen could do in the final scene. I realise
he might've been drained from a few scenes back, but it was my impression
that a large amount of time had passed... enough to recover somewhat.

There in lies the magic of a "junk" address. Set yourself up a
hotmail or yahoo address and use that for sites that might be proned
to spam you and you've got no worries. Plus, if they do send you some
sort of confirmation email, you can still recieve it where as if you
just typed in "i...@hate.spam" you'd never see it. Anyway, hope that
helps.

I've just finished reading all your stories currently on bookface.com.
Wow. In particular, the Crusade scripts. Not only am I more hooked than
ever on Crusade, but you left it on a *cliffhanger*! You mean, mean man!
BTW, "Cold Type" seems to be doing better now, though "We Killed Them in the
Ratings" still appears as (mostly) one large paragraph. Actually, one
paragraph per 3-4 pages.
Also, the script for "To the Ends of the Earth" I noticed a rather glaring
typo. On page 18, for the INT. CONFERENCE ROOM where Gideon is seated going
over the report, as Matheson waits, the next set of lines says it's Galen
speaking and it should read Gideon. It threw me for a loop there for a
second, 'til I realized the mistake.
That aside, did I mention how much I enjoyed the Crusade scripts? You know,
I don't think I'd object if you decided to write the next 4 1/2 years worth
of Crusade scripts and put them up on the bookface.com web site.....
I also really enjoyed the other pieces. "Say Hello, Mr. Quigley" reminded
me of the old Twilight Zone stories. You know, you seem to have a knack for
this writing thing. You ought to consider doing it for a living.

I went to "Power Search" and put Joe's last name in and it pulled up

Just do a search for 'Crusade' - that's the only title that both are given.
They're fantastic scripts - it's a shame we didn't get to see them on
screen, but it's nice to know what would have happened at least.

I read Cold Type and Say Hello to Mr Quigley. I must say, I think the
latter would make a wonderful horror movie. It would be so misleading
-- everyone thinking they knew what was going on, until the end.
At one point you (JMS) said we shouldn't go to the trouble of digging
up your early novels because they were really not that good. I
ignored the advice and found them. You are right, they are not that
good. However, somewhere between then and now you got to be a
fantastic writer.
Next time on line, I will go for the crusade scripts.

There is also http://spamcop.net which tracks down the spammers ISP and
automatically generates a report. Always gives me a good feeling each I
