I was just reading a "report" on a Crusade that brought an interesting
"fact" to light.

Is it true that one of the reasons why you weren't able to sell
Crusade to SFC back in 98/99 was because they wanted the B5 rights
too, and TNT was asking an exhorbant fee for them in an attempt to
kill any possible deal?

If so, now that SFC has what they wanted, is there a chance that they
might shell out for a continuation?

Thanks.

A Crusade crusader.
Who would've imagined that life would've imitated art like this?

I've heard statements to that effect, but I was not in the room so I can't
personally confirm them.

I think they'd much rather see what happens with B5 for a while first.

This might be blasphemous to admit, but that would be fine with me.

Personally, I hope it does great for them, and they then come and say
"What else you got?" It'd be more interesting IMO to have a *new* SF
series, where so much of the worlds, cultures, and characters are
already known. A new tv universe to build from scratch.

Or, if Sci-Fi's DUNE miniseries is a hit, ask what classic SF novel
would be of interest to adapt? James Blish's CITIES IN FLIGHT?

Hmm, wouldn't it be a hoot if Harlan's sceenplay of Asimov's I, ROBOT
finally got made?

*not* (argh, grifing typos!)

I think any new TV series by jms (like "The World on Fire") would be
aimed at the networks - Sci-Fi ain't exactly the most prestigious
channel around. Though, we shouldn't dismiss a special/movie now and
then. :-)
