I just happened to look at the website for Wizard World Chicago 2000
(http://www.wizardworld.com/chicago/chicago.html), and it says you
will be the Guest of Honor at this year's convention (August 4-6). I
assume you will be there to promote *Rising Stars*, of course, but by
that time of year will you be able to talk about some of your other
projects in development?
Also, I see that Joss Whedon is on the guest list. Is there any chance
the two of you will make a joint appearance to compare your experiences
and views on television writing and producing?

(bonks head on desk) You know, I should probably actually *mention* some of
the places I'm going to be from time to time, since people generally like to
know, and I often forget to mention until after the fact.
Yes, I'm going to be at the Wizard Chicago Comic Convention (formerly Chicago
Comic Con) to talk about Rising Stars, Joe's Comics, and any other projects
that I can talk about at that time.
I'll also be a Guest of Honor at the World Horror Convention 2000 in Denver the
weekend of May 11th...and I'm slated to be a special guest at San Diego Comic
Con in July. (I *think* those are all the conventions I'm currently slated
for, but I'll have to check to be sure.)

Dunno, nothing's been said about it, but I'd certainly be up for it. I'm a big
fan of the work he's doing on Buffy and Angel. He just goes from strength to
strength.

Nothing planned at present.
BTW, I *did* forget one other convention: I'll be at GenCon as well.

GenCon = Geneva Convention in Geneva Wisconsin. TSR's AD&D little
get-together that is still going on even after the takeover by Wizards
of the Coast. More info than you cared for I know.

GenCon is in Milwaukee Aug 10-13. It is one of the biggest gaming cons in the
country.
Whatever will you be doing there? You've said that you're not much of a gamer...
Do you have some secret project you've yet to announce?

No, not in this arena. I'm there for Agents of Gaming, who have the B5 role
playing game, and for Rising Stars.
Waitaminit!!! Did AoG recently pick up Chameleon Eclectic's old gig as
printer(or whatever it was they did) for Wireframe Production's _Babylon
Project_ game, *in addition to* the _B5 Wars_ ship-combat stuff they're
already doing in-house?
Waiting for clarification while I go revisit the AoG site...

The only reason I went to comicons (just attended my second) was to see B5
stars. Last April I saw Pat Tallman and Jeff Willerth. Friday I saw Peter
Woodward and Bob Krimmer.
So, I'm not "up" on comicon names in general.
I'm sending you a couple of digipics (from Friday) tonight.
