I was watching CNN's Showbiz Today, and in the middle of a report on
ageism in Hollywood, Angela Lansbury appeared in character as Jessica
Fletcher. Sitting pool side with her black laptop she utters "Oh, too
much eagerness on the part of one person to solve the crime, is usually
a sign of the killer himself" to some unseen person.

Cutting to some shots of Angela, Richard Crenna and various production
personnel, while a voice-over talks about how older actors too often end
up in stereotyped roles. "We are decrepit... we are loosing our
marbles... we are unable to take care of ourselves... we are stupid...
we are so badly shown in most instances" Angela says.

Jms was nowhere to be seen (which is most likely just the way he wanted
it :-).

Yup, that's from my movie.

And Daniel Dae Kim's doing a great job, btw. We actually expanded his part to
accommodate the quality of his work.

It's a pity that most people outside the US (like myself) probably won't
get to see it.

If the cops in her town are too dim to notice that just about every
week somebody connected with Fletcher is murdered, do you really think
that they'll pick up even this blatant a confession?

But haven't you noticed all the travelling she does? And her New York
apartment? She's very clever, spreading all the murders around, so the
police doesn't get suspicious.

Besides, she probably has Mort in her pocket.
