We will pick up Crusade, but *only* if you go back and fix Season 1
(Definition of "fix": Remove TNT interference from the existing Season 1
episodes. Shoot the rest of the episodes that you would have had in Season
1. Put the 22 Season 1 episodes in the airing proper order.),
Would you do it?
Mac
Of course.
But it would never happen. Not in a gazillion years.

Just because the actors contracts have expired, it doesn't mean you can't
get them back and signed onto a *new* contract. I liked the original cast.
They were really working well together.

I suggest that you read the earlier posting by jms. Even if he is wrong and by
some miracle some one came out of the blue and promised to buy the whole first
season of +ACI-Crusade+ACI- for the price that TNT bought it for (or even a bit more),
it would be virtually impossible to get all of the actors re-signed. The one
thing that shows like +ACI-Crusade+ACI- tend to do is it gives actors a chance to really
shine because their characters aren't the ordinary parts. That makes it harder
to re-sign actors because they are generally finding or doing other work. To get
them back into that situation again, most agents would probably seek more for
their performers since their characters are already established (unless
explicitly told not to) and thus make them too expensive to pick back up.
I know there are people out there who really want to believe that if they just
kick and scream and post long enough and often enough that they can +ACI-wish+ACI- the
show back into existence. Maybe you can. I don't know - I'm just not one of
them.

I did read it.

I haven't seen them doing much.

True, if they feel that they are needed or wanted, they will ask for more,
and this will make it harder to get them back.

Well, it did work for Trek.....
Not me, though. I believe shit happens, and that greed, pride, and
stupidity usually combine forces to thwart good things from happening.

It probably can't be done. Crusade is probably 100% dead; NEVER in a
million years to be resurrected and done right. I probably have a better
chance of winning the Lottery by *not* buying any Lottery tickets.

Me: ever the pessemist with just the tiniest spark of hope/optimism left. I
keep trying to snuff it out, but the damn thing it keeps coming back. I
*really* wish it would go out. I'd be less conflicted.
