I very rarely wear wool; it makes me itch like crazy. No way do I need a
heavy wool jacket that can only be dry-cleaned! (And leather sleeves could
be rain-damaged. Though I just heard from someone who was poured on while
wearing the wool/leather B5 jacket; she said it took 4 days to dry out, but
was in perfect condition afterward. So who knows...)
>Black satin exterior shell would be much better and easier to take care of.
The absolute best thing would be a *denim* B5 (and/or "Crusade") jacket. I
love denim; it's so much more useful than the above-mentioned thing.
Would anyone else like to see it in denim? Perhaps we should write to the
fan club with this request? :-)

Well, dry-cleaning is another of my complaints. In fact, the quote from me
that you included was about more than itching; it included this:
>>No way do I need a heavy wool jacket that can only be dry-cleaned!
I won't wear dry-clean-only stuff. (I get hugely annoyed with all those
"green", environmentally-kind mail-order catalogs that insist on stocking
dry-clean-only rayon. Excuse me, wake up... it's not very "green" if the
only way you can wear it again is spend lots of money to have it
dry-cleaned... uggh.)
> Wool also attracts lint more.
Ohhhhh, yes.
> A black satin outer shell just looks cool, and can be machine washed.
I could deal with that...

Heh. Your opinion. IMHO, I think it looks good; I see a lot of people
wearing it who aren't bikers or college students. :-) (I go for comfort,
not fashion, so there you go...)
