If Crusade doesn't come back (although I am really hoping it does
return), would you consider doing another B5 spinoff? I love that B5
universe, & the thought of no more of it (especially with how bad a lot
of the series are these days) makes me a bit sad.

No.

I like the B5 universe as well, but I would prefer to move on to other
projects, and not become a one-trick pony. None of the other projects
currently in the works have anything to do with B5.

Would there ever be a chance that there would be a movie done for the B5
univerce?

Good. Joe tell us another story please! Preferrably SF, but I'll
cope as long as it's intelligent :-)

WB has inquired about one several times, but I'm in no real rush. If I were to
do one, it'd be a while down the road, and I'd want to take that time to think
of a really good story, rather than rush something out just to do it.

Yes, delay it a little bit. I'd want a good story. Too many
movie-versions of TV-series are weak. I won't even see that Wild Wild
West movie because of the track-record of TV-series inspired films.

Well, Joe, FWIW, I think you could have beat SW:1 for the Hugo if you
had gone for it. Of course I think you woulda won anyway since it's
in Chicago.

Good, as a die hard fan of the series I would love to see a movie come
out some time. But I would much rather wait and get a good story that
fits in and has good depth and background. But it's nice to hear that WB
is intrested in doing one, but I agree wait. It would also be nice if it
was more than one of those made for TV movies. Not that the TV ones were
bad but the idea of sitting in a thearter with the big screen and sound
just enthrills me.

Would never happen. There are simply too many geeks that eat up GL's
work, and with a fan base for ST that large, B5 would simply never have a
chance of winning an award with SW:1 against it.

That's good to know. One big problem I have with most of the Star Trek
movies is they're just like overblown but average series episodes. A movie
should have a big, important story. I'm willing to wait, if you're willing
to write! :-)

I'm with Jay on this one. I'd say it's not unreasonable to suppose that at
least 99% of "Star Wars" fans neither know nor care about the Hugo. With
rare exceptions--mostly thanks to B5 fans--skiffy fans and SF fans are two
totally different species who only cross paths at the local bookstore.
