be up and around already.

Is this info wrong?

Peter's doing terrific, and is back up to par at record speed.

Nope - as a matter of fact, Peter is at Dracon*Con in Atlanta, Georgia, this
weekend and is doing just fine.

I'm surprised too. I'd think any heart surgery would be major. It may be a
minor surgery but it affects a MAJOR organ (as in NOT one you can do
without). Seeing that convention date, I was thinking either he'd cancelled
and it wasn't reflected in the convention notice, or his surgery was long
enough in the past that he'd had time to recuperate.

Peter was at DragonCon these past four days. Had a heart valve transplant 4
weeks and two days ago. He looked good. He said that his energy level was not
quite as high and that the surgery has given him a view of how much he enjoys
seeing the fans. This after he said last year that he was planning on cutting
back on going to conventions. He said he has plans for upcoming conventions.
Sorry, I don't remember what they are.

Yeah, but Centauri have two hearts :)

And I'll bet they claim to be related to timelords as well!

I saw Peter Jurasik this past weekend at DragonCon and he is doing
very good.
I talked to him for a few minutes and ask him about his attending
DragonCon (because last year he said he wasn't going to attend any
more conventions). He said that his surgery has changed his life and
after taking a few months off he realizes how much he enjoys doing
conventions and hopes to continue doing them.
His next convention is in Toronto (I believe)
He is also trying to raise money for a friends son (I think) because
he needs an organ transplant. If anyone can make a convention that he
is attending he is actioning off signed photos and collectables to
help raise money.

thanx for listening.

That's great, Jeff! I guess the cards & letters we sent Peter were
really appreciated. I was at Agamemcon, & I was sad that Peter couldn't
make it, even though I got to meet Andreas! Hopefully, Peter will make
it to Agamemcon next year.
