Be advised that this coming Wednesday's episode will air at 11:30 on the East
Coast, and 8:30 on the West, due to the NBA draft.

This one is "The Path of Sorrows," and it's a gem.

I've seen that time listed in TV Guide as being tentative, so one should
be careful if taping (i.e. they might want to give themselves at least
30 extra minutes at the end).

And of course, I work until 9pm on Wednesday. I can't really set up the
VCR, because it is actually one of those 'time approximate' type of
airing, meaning, it could start at 8:24pm, or 8:51pm or whenever the NBA
draft concludes. All I know is I will be working. I don't want to tape a
two hour segment on the tape, as this is the same tape I have been
putting the other eps on, there isn't the room for a long period of time
before and after the eps ends. And no, I don't want to wait until the
repeat airing to get it on tape, as I want to be able to rewatch it
before the Monday rebroadcast comes along. You see, I have already
watched Well of Forever 3 times, and tomorrow, I watch it again. I know
I will want to see Path of Sorrows again. The only bright hope out of
this is that maybe people watching the draft will stay tuned for the
show, and that the ratings will go up. Cross fingers all.

i think the ratings for the last hour of the draft will go way up because of
all the b5 fans tuning in early to make sure they don't miss the beginning of

Or somewhat later, or posibly even somewhat earlier depending on how
long the NBA draft actually takes.

Could you put Wednesday's airing on a different tape and then on Monday
use the tape with the other eps for the rebroadcast?

There really is a solution to your dilemma. Find another tape, and
make a temporary version of "The Path of Sorrows", running from 8:30
to 10:30. You can watch that one to your heart's content, and then
make your archival copy on Monday night.

Actually, I disagree... if the blazetrailers or trailblazers or spurs or
srups or anyone picks a shortstop in the draft, I'll definitely be wanting
to watch so I can laugh at what idiots they are. ;) I know you meant it as
a joke, but they might just be stupid enough to do something
interesting--you never know...

on second thought. Nah... ;)

I just found out that the Saturday morning episodes of B5 won't be aired
because of (brace yourselves, as this genre is totally unusual for TNT)
a wild wild west marathon! We're all going to be watching that aren't
we? ;)

Why does the wind tend to blow toward Atlanta? Because TNT sucks!!! :)

I did actually come up with that option later on, but thanks for voicing
it in case my brain did not kick in. I was just whining earlier on, so
it took a while for my brain to kick in, but it did, finally.

Kailin, I'd offer to tape it for you and send it express. But sadly, I won't
see Path of Sorrows til Saturday. Being in Canada may have some perks, such
as good ads for Crusade, but I have to wait a while longer to get it.
Sorry!

Why don't you tape it on a junk tape of some sort -- use that to rewatch it
until Monday, when you can tape it on your "good tape"?

It seems to me that there is a simple solution here:

1. Use blank tape or common tape to get a two-hour segment from TNT,
which will hopefully include all of Wednesday night's episode, and

2. use your "collection" tape to grab Monday's rebroadcast.

Tapes aren't that expensive, ya know. :^)

Thanks, Joe! I was wondering about that, since I live in San Diego.

I don't start work until 11 PM, so I guess I will be okay on this one.

ARRRRGGGHHHHHH! Here it is, 8:56 and they are STILL showing the draft
crap! Someone please tell me TNT is going to run the episode in full
tonight. I can't wait until Monday for the re-run. SNIFF!!!!!!!!!!

(My hubby says he wouldn't put it past TNT to decide to not air the
episode at all. After all we are talking about petty egos in relation to
the suits at TNT).

Wait, the draft crap is over, finger is on the button, please Gods,
don't let it be "joining show in progress"!

YESYESYESYESYESYES!!!!!! It is from the beginning, thank the Gods!

(No, I'm not being sarcastic. I've had to endure years of having my parents
