Hi JMS - have you seen how Crusade is being handled in
Canada?
Crusade starts this weekend on the Canadian Sci-Fi channel
SPACE, on Saturday at 7 pm, then again on Toronto's City TV at 8pm on
Tuesday.
Anyhow, have you (or anyone else sought of the 49th) seen how
Space & City TV are handlign the show? They are flogging the hell out
of it! Promos and advertisements litterally serveral times a day,
every day. Also large advertisements in the Canadian edition of TV
Guide, posterboards on the street, and more.

If Crusade does well in Canada, I wonder if it would help it's
case for a second season in the USA with the Sci Fi Channel.
Presumably, if it does well, (being well promoted) on our version
of the Sci Fi Channel, then it should do well down there. Mind
you, it is also airing on Free-to-air TV stations in our two
biggest cities (CITY and CFCF), which would hurt SPACE's ratings ...
(but will at least keep some US Fans in border cities such as
Buffalo and Burlington VT happy!).

Well, not everyone in Ontario gets the Space channel as it is part of a
specialty service package option, but almost everyone in Ontario who has
cable *has* to get CITY-TV as part of the basic package. CHUMCITY
management(which also runs Space channel) is simply covering their bets
here.

As for the rest of Canada, I have no clue which stations are carrying
Crusade.

AFAIK, outside of Ontario, it's exclusively on SPACE.

In Québec, you can get it on CFCF-Montréal, starting next Wednesday night at
midnight, the same time (not the same day) they showed Babylon 5.

Yeah, I saw a wall full of Crusade posters in downtown Vancouver today.
Cool. Unfortunately I don't get that channel, but my friends do!

Not true. In Montreal it is airing on the CTV affiliate CFCF. This is
owned by WIC which also own stations in Alberta and BCTV. Presumably
these stations also at least had the opportunity to purchase Crusade.

When does their current run on B5 Season 5 end?
